ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Account & subscriptions

Account creation, subscription access, configuration updates and device migration. Confirm your account and plan status in the panel before changing local client settings.

What do I need to prepare to create a UQVPN account?
No email address is required. Set a username and password, using a name that is easy to recognize but not reused on other services, and store your password securely. After opening the user panel, choose a plan and get your subscription and client. Do not share account credentials or subscription details with others.
Where can I get my subscription link?
Get your subscription from the client section of the UQVPN user panel. Log in first, confirm your current plan status, then open the client download page and choose the import method for your platform. The marketing site does not display the actual subscription URL or provide direct links to static installation packages.
Why does the client still show old routes after I update the subscription link?
Find the current subscription in your client and run an update instead of creating another configuration with the same name. Once updated, reopen the route list and confirm that the configuration still points to UQVPN. If nothing changes, delete the old local configuration, then retrieve and import the subscription again from the user panel.
Do I need to buy another plan after changing devices?
No. Changing devices does not require another purchase. UQVPN supports unlimited simultaneously connected devices and works with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. On the new device, sign in to the user panel and get the client and subscription again. Delete local configurations from devices you no longer use.
What should I do if my username or password cannot be verified?
Check your input method, letter case and browser autofill first, making sure credentials saved for another site have not been inserted into the login form. If you still cannot sign in, visit the support page for the current support channel and provide your username, the symptoms and the setup used the last time you logged in successfully.

CONNECTION / FAULT

Connections & troubleshooting

A failed connection is not necessarily caused by the route. Check the local network, system permissions, client mode and subscription status in that order to avoid unnecessary switching.

The client says it is connected, but webpages will not open. What should I do?
Disconnect first and confirm that your local network can open ordinary webpages, then reconnect using a different route. Check the system clock, the client proxy mode and any browser extensions that may have changed network settings. If the issue affects only one browser, test another browser to distinguish a system connection problem from a browser configuration issue.
Why is a particular app not using the proxy?
A common cause is Rule mode: requests from the target app do not match the current rules. Switch temporarily to a more comprehensive proxy mode for comparison, then check whether the app has its own network settings, Private DNS or a direct-connection option enabled. Restore your usual mode after identifying the cause.
The connection button does nothing. What should I check first?
Confirm that the client has imported a valid subscription and that the route list loads normally. Then check whether the system has granted the client permission to establish network connections. If you recently updated the system or client, quit it completely and reopen it. If there is still no response, import the subscription again and test another route.
How can I find the cause of frequent disconnections?
First check whether disconnections occur only on the current local network. Test the same route on another network, then try different routes on the original network. If every route disconnects in the same environment, check power-saving settings, background permissions and network switching first. If only certain routes fail, use other routes.
What should I do if a subscription update fails?
Confirm that the current network can open the UQVPN user panel and that your plan is still active. In the client, remove the failed update task, then copy or retrieve the subscription from the panel again. Do not keep using an old URL from an unknown source. If the error persists, include the client platform, error text and steps to reproduce when submitting a ticket.

SPEED / ROUTING

Speed & routes

Choose routes based on the target region and consistent real-world performance. A single speed test is only a reference and cannot replace testing webpages, video and persistent connections.

What can I do about video buffering during peak hours?
Lower the playback quality temporarily to determine whether the issue is sustained bandwidth or the page itself. Pause background syncing, downloads and system updates, then test another route in the same region. During peak hours, do not repeatedly favor the geographically closest route; choose based on uninterrupted playback in practice.
Should I choose a route by distance or by purpose?
For everyday browsing and messaging, start with a geographically nearby route to reduce the cross-region path. For content tied to a specific region, choose an exit location matching the target service. Developer tools, persistent connections and large file transfers benefit more from stability, so keep a route that performs consistently and avoid switching too often.
Why is a speed test fast while webpages still load slowly?
A speed test usually measures transfer performance to one test target. Page loads are also affected by DNS, the destination server's response, the number of images and scripts, and browser cache. Test several types of websites and compare first-screen load times before and after switching routes instead of judging the entire route from one speed test.
What should I do when a streaming service reports a region mismatch?
Confirm that the selected route region matches the target content library, then fully close and reopen the streaming app. If it still shows the previous region, clear the app cache or website data and try another route in the same region. The platform's account region, licensing rules and content changes may also affect the result.
How can I tell whether the issue is my local network or the route?
Test an ordinary webpage while UQVPN is disconnected, then test the same destination on the current route, and finally retest with another route. If the connection is unstable even without UQVPN, address the local network first. If only one route fails, switch routes. If all routes behave the same, check the client mode, DNS and system permissions.

BILLING / REFUND

Billing & refunds

Before choosing a plan, distinguish monthly subscriptions that renew by period from data packages that last until used. Prices, data allowances and order status are determined by the user panel.

What monthly subscription plans are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Monthly data resets each month on the activation date. Choose based on actual usage records from your usual devices rather than a single download or short speed test.
What is the difference between data packages and monthly subscriptions?
Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Monthly subscriptions reset their data each month on the activation date. Compare monthly plans if you connect steadily throughout the month; if your usage is irregular, compare data packages based on how you consume data.
How is a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade calculated?
For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining status and target plan in the user panel, then follow the displayed process. Do not create a duplicate order instead of upgrading, or you may retain a plan record you do not need.
What payment methods does UQVPN support?
Supported methods are Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT. To pay, open the Plans and Orders page in the UQVPN user panel and use the payment option shown on the order page. After payment, return to the order page to check the status. Do not pay through unfamiliar pages or forwarded payment details.
How do I request a refund?
UQVPN offers a 60-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, submit your order details and refund request through the ticket channel, and keep the order record available for verification. Refund eligibility and processing follow the Terms of Service and order status; duplicate tickets do not change the processing order.
